Between sphere and reality

The reflection about humankind is prevalent in Pit Wide’s art. He explores the sociological and cultural evolution. He translates the dynamics into his work providing his sculptures with the strenghts of their expression. Through the composition of his sculptures and the colors of his self-made glazes, the artist gives a human touch to the Bridge of metaphysics and reality. He has a flair for human anatomy and a deep understanding of physiognomy, which he leveraged to study the physical forces that impact him and that he integrated in his novel art.
This year of his artistic creation, he particularly focused on generating new chemical glazes that beautifully complete the composition of his work. The composition of his sculptures and the refinement of his glazes unite in perfection, which exceeds all limits.
His art was not only well received in Europe, but also in across the Atlantic in the United States. There, Pit Wide was selected on the occasion of the competition for the exhibition „the blanket story“ at Columbia university, New York, in June 2014.
